Freelance CAD Designer – Events & Experiential (Conferences) Location : Remote Duration : 1–4 weeks (starting ASAP) Contract : Freelance We’re on the lookout for an experienced Freelance CAD Designer to support our team on a series of high-profile conference and experiential event projects . This is a short-term freelance role (1–4 weeks), ideal for someone with a strong background in event space planning , technical drawings , and a sharp eye for detail—ready to jump in and contribute immediately. Key Responsibilities : Produce accurate and detailed 2D CAD drawings for event layouts, including floor plans, elevations, and technical specs Interpret creative concepts into clear, build-ready drawings Work closely with project managers, production teams, and suppliers to ensure technical accuracy Translate design ideas into workable solutions within venue and brand constraints Must-Have Skills & Experience : Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (essential) Experience working on events , exhibitions , or experiential activations—especially conferences Excellent understanding of materials, construction methods, and venue logistics Ability to work quickly and accurately to meet tight deadlines Great communication and collaboration skills Nice to Have : Experience with large-scale conference formats or global event environments Knowledge of venue compliance and health & safety considerations
