Electrical Hardware Design EngineerChapman Recruitment is looking for an experienced Electrical Hardware Design Engineer. Our client was established in 2003, has a dynamic team that thrives on challenges, and is looking to welcome enthusiastic and self-driven individuals who are eager to develop and progress within the industry. We need well-rounded Electrical Design Engineers with a minimum of 3 years of experience.This is a full-time role and is offering work with large, prestigious clients in several industries for example : automotive (JLR, BMW, Bentley). Airports such as Heathrow and goods distribution centres such as Amazon.Position Overview : As an Electrical Hardware Design Engineer, you will be integral in producing schematics, engineering calculations, BOM’s and design documentation. Your role will support the company’s growth by promoting business through excellent customer care. The company is about to go through a period of growth due to winning a new contract and needs to expand its team.Electrical Hardware Engineer Responsibilities :

  • EPLAN is key to this role : Design and engineer schematic drawings.
  • Engineering documentation.
  • Engineering calculations.
  • Generating all required export lists.Electrical Hardware Engineer Qualifications :
  • Must have Eplan experience ideally 2 / 3 years.
  • Electrical & Electronic Engineering at BTEC Level 3 or equivalent.
  • AutoCad experience is useful but not essential
  • Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Valid UK driver’s licenseElectrical Hardware Engineer Work schedule :
  • Monday to Friday, 40hrs per week with potential for overtime and weekend availability as needed.
  • The role is hybrid based on roughly a 50 / 50 split until you are established in the company.
