This is one of the industries most exciting projects to be involved in, helping manufacture London's newest tube fleet. This will involve working out of Siemens Mobility's brand new state-of-the-art facility purpose built for this project!Position Summary : As a mechanical assembler, you will be experienced working in a safe manner, adhering to Siemens 4 steps to zero harm. You will be carrying out assembly tasks on mechanical parts, components, assemblies / sub-assemblies. Responsibilities Include :

• Mounting of components, units or pre-assemblies
• Assembly of mechanical components
• Preparation work, drilling, grinding and riveting
• Pipe fitting / bonding
• Documentation of activities (Glass or Paper systems)
• Utilising pneumatic, hydraulic and other fitting systems
• Working closely to production instructions including all correct tooling
