Upholsterer

Miles Recruitment have a great opportunity for an Upholsterer to join a well established company, dedicated to providing high-quality upholstery services.As an Upholsterer, you will be responsible for transforming furniture by applying padding, springs, fabric. Some of your daily responsibilities can include : - Remove old upholstery and prepare surfaces for new materials.- Measure, cut, and sew fabric or leather according to design specifications.- Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary adjustments or repairs.- Glue, pack and fit materials to finish productsTo thrive in this position as Upholsterer, you will need to have proven experience in the same or a similar role. Additionally you will need : - Proficiency in upholstery techniques, including measuring, cutting, sewing, and stapling.- Knowledge of different types of fabrics, leathers, and materials used in upholstery.- Strong communication and teamwork skills.- Attention to detail and a keen eye for design and craftsmanship.This is an ongoing position with the opportunity to go permanent.Salary : £11.69 p / h
