Duration : 6 Months

Location : Samlesbury (3 to 4 days onsite)

Hourly Rate : £21.38 Paye or £27.79 Umbrella inside IR35

Overview :

BAE Systems is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join their Procurement and Supply Chain team.

Skills :

Procurement experience, preferably in a high volume, fast-paced aerospace or manufacturing market.
Supply Chain orderbook management experience.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
A proven ability to collaborate, fostering close and trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrable working understanding of tool sets and IT.

The Job :

Supporting the timely placement of Purchase Orders, ensuring adherence to Supply Chain / Supplier governance, such as supplier accreditations and export controls.

Updating delivery dates into multiple ERP systems to maintain data accuracy.

Managing effective customer relationships to ensure strong, ongoing partnerships.

Collaborating across teams, including Project Management, Engineering, Commercial, and Finance, to support smooth business operations.
