Our client is seeking both a Senior Planner and a Town Planner to join their highly skilled team. With a history dating back to 1989, the company has grown organically, spread across two offices near Manchester. This employee-owned trust (EOT) firm is renowned for working on large-scale projects, particularly in renewable energy, infrastructure, commercial, and residential sectors.
Key Responsibilities :
- Managing and delivering planning projects from inception through to completion
- Engaging with clients, stakeholders, and large organisations in national infrastructure
- Providing expert advice on town planning and development
- Collaborating with internal teams across planning, transport, and landscape disciplines
- Conducting site assessments and preparing comprehensive reports
- Ensuring all projects comply with planning regulations and RTPI standards
- Mentoring junior staff and fostering a collaborative working environment
Job Requirements :
Experience dealing with large scale projects in public or private sectorsStrong understanding of town planning principles and regulationsExperience or willingness to work towards RTPI accreditationExcellent communication and client engagement skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamWillingness to work on a hybrid basis, typically 3 days in office and 2 days from homeProactive and adaptable approach to project managementIf you are an experienced Town Planner or Senior Planner looking to advance your career within a supportive and dynamic team, we would love to hear from you.
