Wiring & PCB Operative

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a talented individual to join their team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the production of high-quality electronic assemblies and make a real impact on a thriving organisation.

Contract Length : 6 months initially (potential to be extended)

Working Pattern : Full Time, 37.5 hours per week

Hourly rate : £12.32

Location : Poole

As a Wiring & PCB Operative, you will be responsible for :

  • Assembling a wide range of standard parts, semi-products, and / or components, with a focus on electronic assemblies.
  • Performing revolving operations for electronic parts or components, on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
  • Organising your own hand stock and constantly monitoring the availability of parts, ensuring accurate selection according to production plans.
  • Utilising specific equipment and specialised tools to ensure the maintenance of functionality.
  • Conducting quality control checks and routine problem-solving to maintain high manufacturing standards.

Your Skills and Experience :

  • Competent in modifying complex PCBs.
  • Proficient in completely wiring and assembling complex PCB assemblies, operating spray varnish equipment, and soldering components.
  • Ability to operate Optical Inspection Equipment (AOI) is desirable.
  • Awareness of Lean & 5s principles and methodology is a plus.
