A fantastic new role has arisen on a part time basis to join the HR department within a marketing focused role.This role is a people engagement focused position. So it sits within the HR department but we require a marketer to support and run engagement campaigns.This opportunity is to join a global technology business that I have worked with for years. You would be based in the Birmingham office (hybrid working) reporting in to Siobhan (who is lovely) and working with the Birmingham HR team that I have recruited myself.

This role is a job share – working 3 days a week.You will work closely with focus groups including D&I, Environmental, Wellbeing and People Operations.You main focus is to plan and executive internal and external marketing campaigns to help attract and retainer staff as well as showcase sustainability efforts.

Salary = £27,000 full time equivalent. Pro rata to £16,200 per annumDays = 3 full days a week. Office location = Aston

Duties include :

  • Devise creative, engaging, and strategic campaigns to effectively promote initiatives internally and externally.
  • Establish an internal and external communications strategy in conjunction with HR team and focus groups including planning, editing and writing content for a variety of communications mediums, such as intranet, emails, careers site and LinkedIn
  • Keep website up to date and engaging, measuring success through data
  • Use data to analyse the effectiveness of the communications and adapt as needed
  • Build relationships and collaborative with focus groups throughout the business
  • Create and maintain material such as certificates in line with any design changes
  • Design and market the yearly project calendar
  • Responsible our internal workshop comms platform and pulse surveys
  • Co ordinating the focus Groups
  • To ensure long service awards are presented on time, encouraging photos with managers. Managing all other awards / gifts e.g. on the spot, values, maternity etc.
  • Keeping an awards dashboard up to date
  • To be responsible for the flexible benefits communications and process.
  • Ensure new staff are engaged through receiving their induction plan and new starter box a week before they join with their tree planting email on their first day. Escalate any issues of timeframes on this.

The ideal candidate :

  • Will have previous marketing support experience
  • With specific internal and / or external marketing email campaign experience
  • Must be competent with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
  • Able to create graphic material to a decent quality
  • Competent with communication plans and strategy with support
  • Self motivated and can manage our time and work load
