Job description
This role of the Strategic People Business Partner is to work in partnership with CQC�s Senior Leaders within assigned directorates. The role will provide strategic and operational advice and knowledge on people related matters in line with the needs and priorities of the directorate they are partnering and the wider CQC. With the purpose of ensuring achievement of current objectives, alongside focusing on the future to ensure strategic business aims are achieved.
Working with a motivated supportive team you will report to the Deputy Director of People Strategy and Practice. As part of the wider business and People Directorate, you will take full accountability for the people agenda within their assigned directorates, own the relationship, and ensure effective delivery of people practice. In addition to supporting their partner directorates, the role will lead the delivery of people projects and processes that have an organisation wide impact. You will be joining CQC at time of change and challenge and a �can do� positive attitude is a must.
Person specification
You will be CIPD qualified with a degree level qualification in HR Management, or equivalent HR experience. You will also have experience of working strategically at a business partner level in a fast paced, high-volume environment in your current or previous role.�
Experience of successfully managing change, budget and financial management from a HR perspective, workforce planning, managing employee relations, managing staff and teams � remotely and office based, are also required.�
Communication skills both written and oral and the confidence to engage and negotiate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders will be essential for success in this role. You will have the ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders and be able to influence and engage at senior level.�
Sound attention to detail and organisational skills are a must as well as up to date knowledge of employment legislation.
