Your New RoleWe have a fantastic opportunity for a Highways Team Leader to join our Staffordshire County Council Account working from our Stone Depot (ST15 8LD)
As a Highways Team Leader, you'll play a crucial role in managing routine and reactive maintenance activities across our designated sections. Your responsibilities will span various maintenance aspects, including managing emergency response operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, monitoring resource utilisation, and fostering effective communication among stakeholders.
The standard hours of work are
40hrs across 5 days (0830-1630)
You will be responsible for : Maintain high technical standards and oversee project briefingsEnsure team and public safety in compliance with health and safety legislationMonitor resource utilisation and conduct cost-value analysesLiaise with various stakeholders, manage records, and complete necessary paperworkCoordinate day-to-day maintenance operations and manage resources efficientlyDevelop and manage emergency standby and winter rotasOrganise road space bookings, order necessary materials, and conduct performance reviews
