FRA / Fire Door Carpenter

A leader in the provision of fire protection services and works within social housing and other public sector projects is looking for experienced fire door carpenters to join their team. You will be working on domestic projects, carrying out new installations, upgrades and maintenance works too existing doors and frames. The works will be mostly within Didcott / Camberley and may also cover other areas within a 30–40 mile radius.We are looking for FRA / Fire Door Carpenters on a temp to perm basis with an initial agency period of 12 weeks and then moving to a permanent role.Pay on offer is £180 per day for the initial agency period (12 weeks) and then moving to £37,440 per annum thereafter (once permanent).

• For the initial 12 weeks – you MUST pick the van up and drop off to the office each day
• The successful candidate will have :
• At least three year’s experience working with fire doors
• Valid CSCS Card
• A valid DBS is beneficial
• NVQ or equivalent in carpentry
• A strong background in carpentry and joinery
• Excellent technical knowledge of fire door compliance
• Experience installing fire doors and frames
• Experience upgrading and remediating existing doors and frames
• Experience working on social housing FRA contractsRoles and responsibilities
