Protocol Education is actively recruiting for Cover Supervisor’s to support London Secondary Schools.

If you hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or at least 2-years’ experience in Supply Teaching, we want to hear from you!

Your Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will :

  • Plan and Deliver : Design and implement core subject lessons in accordance with school policies and schemes of work in the absence of the Classroom Teacher.
  • Assess and Feedback : Provide students with regular assessments and constructive feedback to foster their academic growth.
  • Monitor Behaviour : assess and monitor student behaviours and take necessary action.
  • Collaborate : Work closely with Learning Support Assistants to create an engaging and supportive classroom environment.
  • Share Best Practices : Participate in departmental and staff meetings to exchange ideas and strategies and for professional development.

    • What We’re Looking For

    To thrive in this role, you will need :

  • Qualifications : QTS and an Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service.
  • Knowledge and Skills : An understanding of Key Stages 3 & 4 curriculum and teaching methods, and the ability to adapt lessons according to the level and capacity of the class. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion : A genuine enthusiasm for Education and helping young people reach their full potential.
  • Resilience and Positivity : A strong, positive attitude with the ability to inspire and engage students.

    All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
