Audit & Accounts Senior

Puro Associates is partnering with a reputable firm who are advertising anAudit and Accounts Senior job in Bath. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and ambitious individual to join a growing team and play a key role in providing exceptional service to a wide range of clients.

As an Audit and Accounts Senior in Bath, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, overseeing audits from planning through to completion, and preparing accounts for a range of business entities. You will have the opportunity to work closely with senior management and clients, making this a rewarding and varied role that will allow you to grow professionally.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage audits from planning to completion for a portfolio of clients across various sectors
  • Preparation of financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies in accordance with UK GAAP
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and development opportunities
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring high standards of service are maintained
  • Review client systems and controls, identifying potential areas for improvement
  • Assist with tax compliance and advisory work as required
  • Liaise with clients and ensure deadlines are met

    • Key Requirements :

  • ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience in audit and accounts preparation within a UK accountancy practice
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, accounting standards, and auditing procedures
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships
  • Demonstrable experience managing audits and accounts assignments
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple clients simultaneously
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) is an advantageous
