Job descriptionDegree or HND in Electrical Engineering (or similar). Proficiency with AutoCAD, Amtech, Dialux and MS Office package, Revit is a plus! Prior experience delivering electrical design on rail projects preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Here at Blueprint Recruitment we have an exciting new opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer to join an established electrical contractor delivering electrical design on a high-profile rail project. We are seeking someone with extensive experience and knowledge, to work in a contract position. The successful candidate will work on a hybrid basis, with three days a week in our clients office in Stratford.
Our client specialises in the commercial, industrial, rail, and residential sectors.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design electrical systems and layouts using CAD.
- Produce drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Work closely with engineers and project teams.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and contractors.
- Conduct site surveys and prepare documentation.
- Ensure designs meet industry standards and regulations.
- Support installation and commissioning stages.
