As the Floor Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the dining area, bar, and lounge. You will lead by example, providing guidance and support to the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional service while maintaining a positive and professional atmosphere. Your leadership, organizational skills, and attention to detail will be instrumental in driving the success of our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage and coordinate front-of-house operations to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
Supervise and motivate staff, including servers, hosts / hostesses, and bartenders, to deliver exceptional service and uphold brand standards
Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate service expectations, special promotions, and menu updates
Monitor dining room and bar activity, ensuring proper seating rotation, pacing of service, and adherence to service standards
Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner, striving to exceed guest expectations
Assist in scheduling and managing staff to optimize productivity and labour costs
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless communication and coordination between front and back of house
Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with health and safety regulations
