Nursery Practitioner, Level 3 - Lewisham, SE13 - Full time, 40 hours - ASAP - £12 per hour

Fantastic Day Nursery in Lewshiam are look out for an experienced Nursery nurse to join their team for a full-time position with an immediate start.

This nursery is an established Outstanding setting based in Lewisham, South- East London. Situated 10 minutes walking distance from Lewisham train station and the DLR. Close to Lewisham Shopping Centre.

Your main tasks and duties will include.

• Protect and promote the health and well-being of children.
• Ensure that safeguarding procedures are followed.
• Promote positive relationships in the early years setting.
• Support children's learning and development through play
• Be a 'key person' to a small group of children and build positive relationships with their families.
• Monitor children's progress to ensure they reach their developmental targets.
• Plan and create activities which keep children engaged throughout the day.
• Enable children to become more independent.
• Help prepare children for the transition into school life.

Applicants will need the following qualifications, training and experience :

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent or above

Experience working in a nursery setting.
