Role description :

Were excited to be growing our Industrial and Manufacturing Cost Management team. We are looking for a Project Cost Consultant to join us delivering high-profile manufacturing facilities for market leading global clients.

As part of our Cost Management team, youll be involved in a wide range of projects from global and high profile to small and impactful, ensuring theyre delivered on time and to budget. Your expertise in planning, estimating, budgeting and managing costs will drive growth and smarter working.

We work with our clients around the world to create, support, and enhance smart, safe and sustainable places where people live, work, learn and thrive, as ultimately these facilities impact on the quality of peoples lives. We deliver as part of a collaborative mutli-discipline team to amaze our clients.

Role accountabilities :

In this role, youll deliver our professional Quantity Surveying and Cost Management services to multi-national and UK clients, working on large industrial buildings, manufacturing facilities and gigafactories across the UK and Europe.

You'll have the opportunity to work on projects from inception through to completion. Day-to-day activities range from working on cost estimates / feasibilities, benchmarking and the procurement process, to reviewing and agreeing contractor proposals and contract management during the post contract stage.

Youll be supported to develop your career within a collaborative team environment, and youll have the opportunity to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team who are passionate about delivery and excellent service for a positive outcome for our clients.

Qualifications & Experience :

First and foremost, you share our passion for service excellence. You pride yourself for the part you play in transforming the world around you and understand the importance of teamwork. You are a technically capable with a passion for the manufacturing sector (or willing to learn) and delivering exceptional results, and come to us with :

  • MRICS Chartered Quantity Surveyor (or near attainment)
  • Pre and post contract experience
  • Passionate about driving innovation in service and delivering exceptional results
  • Experience leading lower value / complexity projects
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Some experience with Digital Cost Management and CostX, 5D BIM and Benchmarking tools
