Senior Quantity Surveyor – Worcestershire – Bespoke ResidentialWalker & Sloan are working in partnership with a well-regarded residential builder in Worcestershire known for delivering high-quality, bespoke housing schemes. With a strong pipeline of exciting work ahead, they are now seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take a commercial lead across multiple upcoming projects.This is a fantastic opportunity for a QS who is passionate about craftsmanship, quality, and enjoys working in a close-knit team on high-end builds.Key Responsibilities :

• Lead commercial strategy and cost management from feasibility through to final account
• Prepare accurate cost plans, budgets, and tender returns
• Assess subcontractor valuations and variations
• Work closely with project managers and directors to ensure financial control on projects
• Value engineering input and contract negotiations
• Conduct risk assessments and provide cost-saving solutions
• Regularly report on financial performance and cash flow forecastsIdeal Background :
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in quantity surveying, ideally with bespoke or traditional build residential projects
• Excellent understanding of construction contracts (JCT preferred)
• Comfortable working independently and with a small commercial team
