Export Administrator
Location : Boldon
Hours : Monday – Friday, 09 : 00 – 17 : 30
Start Date : ASAP
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Export Administrator to join a dynamic and fast-paced freight forwarding team in Boldon. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong customer service skills and experience in export operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Handle customer service inquiries, including taking bookings and providing updates.
- Input data into the AS400 system.
- Ensure correct allocation of cargo to flights and services.
- Prepare and complete MAWB and HAWB documentation.
- Process customs entries via the ASM Sequoia system.
- Manage order tracking and resolve accounts queries.
- Process and complete import entries.
- Generate invoices and maintain POD control.
- Create consignments into ERTS using the Sequoia system.
- Handle ocean export shipments.
- Support the wider team with any additional tasks as required.
Requirements :
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a freight forwarding environment (Air Freight or Sea Freight Export preferred).Strong customer service and telephone communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-related systems.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.Willingness to adapt and take part in training programs.Flexibility to work outside standard hours when required.Benefits Package :
