  • Early Career Teacher (ECT) :

    Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Education Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to take the next step in your teaching journey? We seek confident, inspirational and motivated teachers to join our supportive and dynamic Secondary Schools in Warwickshire. You will teach your chosen subject to pupils in KS3 / KS4 (KS5 is advantageous) starting September.

    The role :

  • Have regard for the need to safeguard pupils’ well-being following statutory provisions
  • Plan and deliver a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum tailored to meet the diverse needs of all students in line with the National Curriculum
  • Assess, record, and report on student progress while maintaining accurate records
  • Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment following the school’s behaviour policy
  • Work collaboratively with experienced colleagues who will support your professional growth
  • Communicate effectively with parents and other professionals about pupils’ achievements and well-being
  • Must have :

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Satisfactory references covering the last 2 years
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child Workforce) on the Update Service or willing to pay and apply for a new one (Twenty4Seven Education can assist you with this process)
  • Experience teaching within an educational setting while on placement(s)
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Excellent subject knowledge in your chosen subject
  • Read the DfE ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ (2024) document
  • Good Literacy, Numeracy and IT skills
