Our Client offers fantastic training and some excellent rewards including a weekly bonus.Mechanical Plant Fitter Job Details & Benefits;Permanent position35,360 - £39,520 per annum plus a fantastic weekly bonus schemeDays shifts of either 4am-2pm or 5am-3pm Monday - ThursdayOvertime available on Fridays to suit business needs – Paid at 1.5Loyalty Bonus up to £1,000 payable after 3 years500 Refer a Friend Scheme payable to both new and referring employeeContributory pension schemeEmployee Assistance programmeEmployee savings schemeTraining providedWorkwear providedMechanical Plant Fitter Role & Responsibilities include;Conducting preventative maintenance on all plant machineryAttending machine breakdowns and carrying out repairs / change overs efficiently, to ensure minimum down timeTroubleshooting and fault-finding defects on machinery and carrying out repairs as necessaryEnsuring adequate supply of essential parts and ordering of parts when requiredUpdating records and maintenance logsMaintaining the upkeep of all working areasFabricating work may also be requiredEnsuring compliance with the Company’s policies; including Health & SafetyObserving and complying with all good working practices within the companyCarrying out any other reasonable request made by management, to support departmental or company objectivesMechanical Plant Fitter Person Specification;A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Heavy Plant / Machinery maintenanceKnowledge of auto-electrics, engines, transmission, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systemsBe hard working and conscientious using initiative to reach suitable resolutions without constant supervisionThe ability to work flexible hours including later shifts / weekends if needed to suit business needsAbility to follow instructions and prioritise workload in systematic orderAbility to work on your own initiative and as part of a team demonstrating a good work ethicExcellent organisation and communication skillsA good understanding of Health & SafetyFull UK Driving LicenceIf you are interested in the role as Mechanical Plant Fitter then please apply now by sending your CV today
