Job descriptionT&K Associates are working in partnership with our prestigious Client based in Ellistown to recruit a Mechanical Plant Fitter to join their team on a permanent basis.We are looking for a hardworking enthusiastic individual that want’s to work for the UK’s largest manufacturer and supplier within their industry. Our Client offers fantastic training and some excellent rewards including a weekly bonus.Mechanical Plant Fitter Job Details & Benefits; Permanent position 35,360 - £39,520 per annum plus a fantastic weekly bonus scheme Days shifts of either 4am-2pm or 5am-3pm Monday - Thursday Overtime available on Fridays to suit business needs – Paid at 1.5 Loyalty Bonus up to £1,000 payable after 3 years 500 Refer a Friend Scheme payable to both new and referring employee Contributory pension scheme Employee Assistance programme Employee savings scheme Training provided Workwear providedMechanical Plant Fitter Role & Responsibilities include; Conducting preventative maintenance on all plant machinery Attending machine breakdowns and carrying out repairs / change overs efficiently, to ensure minimum down time Troubleshooting and fault-finding defects on machinery and carrying out repairs as necessary Ensuring adequate supply of essential parts and ordering of parts when required Updating records and maintenance logs Maintaining the upkeep of all working areas Fabricating work may also be required Ensuring compliance with the Company’s policies; including Health & Safety Observing and complying with all good working practices within the company Carrying out any other reasonable request made by management, to support departmental or company objectivesMechanical Plant Fitter Person Specification; A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Heavy Plant / Machinery maintenance Knowledge of auto-electrics, engines, transmission, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems Be hard working and conscientious using initiative to reach suitable resolutions without constant supervision The ability to work flexible hours including later shifts / weekends if needed to suit business needs Ability to follow instructions and prioritise workload in systematic order Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team demonstrating a good work ethic Excellent organisation and communication skills A good understanding of Health & Safety Full UK Driving LicenceIf you are interested in the role as Mechanical Plant Fitter then please apply now by sending your CV today
