Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Robotic Coordinator Band 6 Senior Theatre Practitioner

The Robotic coordinator will play a key role in maintaining and building skilled robotic surgical teams and the implementation / development of the service. Be an expert clinical practitioner providing comprehensive advice and support within the specialism, Operating across all parts of UHNM. We are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic candidate who wish to enhance their career and join our team to deliver care which is safe and effective to ensure and maintain quality strategy.

The post holder requires minimum 3 years' experience at Band 5. Relevant and up to date Mentor / Teaching qualifications Educated to / working towards operating at degree level .Will need to have demonstrated leadership qualities and completed leadership modules.

The successful candidate will be expected to coordinate robotic utilisation / managing list.

Support the Band 7 co-ordinators with the smooth running of the Robotic service. Providing relevant unto date information to senior management team. Research and audit base will gain a wide range of experience and can expand your skills and knowledge in this challenging environment.

Main duties of the job

The Robotic coordinator will play a key role in maintaining and building skilled robotic surgical teams and the implementation / development of the service. Be an expert clinical practitioner providing comprehensive advice and support within the specialism, Operating across all parts of UHNM.

Relevant and up to date Mentorship / Teaching qualification are essential to the role to support junior colleague's on the use of the Da Vinci XI robots

The successful candidate will be expected to coordinate the smooth running of the robotic operating list and supporting the team in theatre.

Participate in utilising their skills either scrub / anaesthetics on a regular monthly basis.

Staff need to be able to work flexibly to cover service requirements.

Working Knowledge of Da Vinci XI robot is essential.

Please understand that although this position is at Royal Stoke we are one hospital with County and you may-be required to work there on occasion.
