We are now seeking a dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and dynamic team.Role Overview : As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our teaching staff to support children with various SEND. You will help create an engaging and inclusive learning environment, ensuring that all students have equal access to the curriculum and are able to reach their full potential. This role requires patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to meeting the needs of our students.Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with special educational needs
  • Assist in the preparation and adaptation of learning materials to meet individual needs
  • Support students with personal care needs, where required
  • Work closely with teachers to develop and implement personalized learning plans
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback as needed
  • Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their confidence and independence
  • Assist in managing behavior and providing emotional support to studentsAbout You : We are looking for someone who :
  • Has a passion for working with children, particularly those with SEND
  • Demonstrates patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate students
  • Has experience working in an educational setting (preferred but not essential)
  • Holds relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 / 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent, or a willingness to work towards them)
  • Is a strong communicator and team player
