An exciting opportunity has arisen for a ​Shift Fitter to join our Engineering Team at our ​Slatyford Depot in ​Newcastle upon Tyne.

At Stagecoach North East we operate over 400 vehicles, which connect our passengers across Tyne and Wear and Teesside with our engineering teams playing a fundamental role in ensuring our vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. Our depot at Slatyford is a purpose-built facility and we operate 90 buses from there.

The successful candidate will play a key role within our maintenance team to ensure our vehicles are maintained and repaired, so they remain available, roadworthy and reliable for our customers at all times.

This is a shift-based role, with shifts any 5 days over 7, which will be discussed at interview.

A PCV licence is preferred but not essential as training will be provided as required.

NVQ Level 3 in a relevant subject is essential.

Salary : Potential to earn £34.5k - £40.5k per year with some overtime working.
