JOB : Project Engineer

LOCATION : Abertillery

TERM : Permanent

SALARY : £38,000 - £43,000 per annum DOE

We are looking for a Project Engineer on a permanent basis in the Abertillery area with experience in the manufacturing and assembly industry. You will work cross-functionally between the Design, Quality, and Manufacturing teams and have full management from design concepts through to handover. You will also oversee product improvement and obsolescence processes and procedures. They are manufacturers of mechanical and special purpose machinery systems, taking things from design through to manufacture, assembly, and installation.

The Project Engineer will ideally have the following attributes :

• Qualified in Engineering ideally (NVQ / HNC / HND / Degree or similar) OR work-based experience
• Previous experience working in a similar role with Project Management training
• Basic CAD design knowledge
• Mechanical or Electrical experience
• Able to work well alone as well as part of a team
• Able to verbally communicate effectively at all levels
• Injection moulded processes and tooling experience
• Excellent attention to detail
• Committed to learning and self-development
