Behaviour Coach – Primary Schools (Treorchy)

Location : Treorchy and surrounding areas

Daily Rate : £89.35

Contract Type : Full-time, Temporary

Start Date : ASAP

About the Role :

We are seeking a Behaviour Coach to support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties across a variety of primary school settings . You’ll work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to help children stay engaged in their learning, manage their emotions, and succeed in the classroom.

This is a varied and dynamic role, perfect for someone who is passionate about behaviour support and wants to make a positive impact in different schools.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide 1 : 1 and small group support to pupils with behavioural challenges

Help children regulate their emotions and develop positive coping strategies

Support classroom learning while promoting a calm, structured environment

Work proactively with school staff to implement behaviour management strategies

Build trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and families

Adapt to different school environments and student needs on a day-to-day basis

Who We’re Looking For :

Someone with experience working with children with SEMH or behavioural difficulties (school or youth work experience ideal)

Calm, empathetic, and able to build rapport quickly

Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills

Adaptable, resilient, and confident working across different schools

Passionate about making a difference to young people’s lives

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
