Pay Scale : £120 - £180 per day

The Role :

We are currently working in partnership with a well-resourced secondary school in Ashington that requires a Secondary Teacher with ASD experience to join their team in September. The school is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced teacher who can deliver engaging and innovative lessons to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

The Successful Candidate Will :

• Be a qualified teacher (ideally PGCE, GTP, BEd, Cert Ed, BA with QTS) and have some experience of working as a Secondary Teacher with students with ASD.
• Experience teaching in a secondary school setting within the last two years is preferred.
• Be proven to raise and maintain attainment levels, keeping standards high.
• Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who leads by example.
• Have strong behaviour management skills to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with all individuals, including pupils, colleagues, and parents.
