As an independent prescriber you will be working with an organisation that supports people who have issues with drug use and alcohol dependency. The charity's aims aresupporting people to transform their lives for the better, helping them to manage their health and wellbeing independently.

The Role

We are looking for a qualified Independent Prescriber with a keen interest in supporting people who are experiencing problematic alcohol or drug use, to join our integrated substance misuse service in the London Borough of Redbridge.

Whether you are highly experienced or new to the sector, this role will provide you with significant scope for growth and innovation within a supportive and friendly multidisciplinary team of clinical and non-clinical professionals, as well as Central Clinical Leads.

The main purpose of this role is to provide excellent quality of clinical care to those accessing treatment with us, improving their health and outcomes in their recovery.

Main duties of the job

To clinically assess and initiate prescribing for new people who are seeking opiate substitution therapy, i.e. Methadone, Espranor, Buvidal, ensuring responsive and timely initiation of prescribing.
