We were the UK’s largest independent blower specialist company before being acquired by Ingersoll Rand in 2021. Job Summary

In this role you will be responsible for the operation of a variety of manual and CNC machines including lathes, mills and grinders to produce and repair precision parts used in the repair of Blower and Pump systems.

Responsibilities

  • The use of manual and CNC machines including lathes, mills and grinders to produce precision parts used in the repair of blower and vacuum pump systems
  • Measurement gathering using metrology equipment (predominantly in imperial)
  • Thermal spraying (training to be given)
  • Welding (training to be given)

Basic Qualifications

  • Recognised apprentice or vocational training qualification
  • Experience of working with machine tools and / or mechanical assemblies
  • Working knowledge of safety protocols
  • Travel & Work Arrangements / Requirements

    Fully site based, with occasional travel to suppliers
