Quality Inspector

Quality Inspector required. My client are a manufactuer of Power Generation and HVAC equipment in Birmingham and are currently recruiting for a Quality inspector. The ideal candidate will come from a Quality background with experience with the ISO : 9001 QMS and be based within a commutable distance of Birmginham.

Quality Inspector Position Overview

• Co-ordinate the development and maintenance of the Quality Manual
• Host audits and surveillance from customers and notified bodies
• Carry out internal audits with focus on business improvements
• Review supplier and sub-contractor applications and ensure supplier certification and accreditation are updated and correct
• To maintain the company's non-conformance & calibration system
• Monitor and measure Customer satisfaction and produce reports accordingly
• Manage the customer portals and accreditations ensuring they are updated accordingly, and all relevant information stored and uploaded in a timely fashion
• Professional completion of all pre-qualification questionnaires in line with relevant deadlines set by our suppliers / customers. Assisting with RFI's (Requests for Information) and similar if required.
