Summary

Job Title : Hospitality Host

Location : Based at London Stansted Airport

Contract : Temporary contract until 31st October 2025

Hours : 20, 30 & 40 Hours per week available

Salary : £14.53 per hour (Inclusive of 17.5% shift allowance)

The role

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Hospitality Team here at Manchester Airport. We pride ourselves on giving our guests a first-class experience and we are now seeking customer-focused individuals to join our team.

Principal Accountabilities Include

  • Provide a meet and greet service to users of the Lounges, ensuring a world-class level of customer service.
  • Maintain Lounge facilities to a high standard, carrying out required Daily, Weekly, and Monthly standards checks.
  • Ensure accurate records are maintained of all Lounge customers, including consolidators, direct bookings, and airline customers.
  • Handle payments for direct bookings and reconcile all monies taken.
  • Prepare and serve beverages in accordance with product directions and alcohol licensing laws.
  • Assist with clearing and organizing the lounge, ensuring high hygiene standards.
  • Maintain stock levels and replenish food and beverage buffet service.
  • Dispose of waste properly, including recycling.
  • Provide assisted service to guests, including business services.
  • Work flexibly to the rota, typically with shifts confirmed at least two weeks in advance.

What will make you successful in the role?

  • A solid background in hospitality and service sectors with a proven track record.
  • A team player with a first-class approach to customer service.
  • Experience in flexibility across long trading days.
  • Numerical and analytical skills for performance information.
  • Computer literate on mainstream PC applications including Microsoft Office.
  • Experience of working on own initiative and building beneficial relationships.
  • Experience in a similar hospitality / lounge setting is beneficial.
  • Willingness to work on a flexible basis as the Lounge operates from 03.30am to 9.30pm.

    • You must be a minimum of 18 years old to comply with our alcohol service policy. Shifts can start as early as 3.30am and finish as late as 10.00pm. Our Lounges are open 7 days a week.
