Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Title : Senior Quantity SurveyorLocation : LewishamSalary : Up to £80,000 Full-Time | PermanentWe're looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of the commercial and contractual performance of high-value construction projects. This is a senior-level role offering full P&L accountability and the opportunity to play a key part in a growing business.The Role : You'll lead the financial and contractual administration of projects, ensuring commercial performance, compliance, and successful delivery. Working closely with operational and estimating teams, you'll manage subcontract procurement, contract reporting, valuations, claims, and final accounts from start to finish.Key Responsibilities : Full commercial management across multiple live projectsLead subcontract procurement and negotiationMonthly CVRs, forecasts, and P&L reportingSupport dispute resolution, claims, and contractual complianceAdvise on legal / contractual risks and ensure documentation is in orderEnsure robust project controls and documentation systemsWork closely with Operations and Estimating on delivery strategyDrive efficiency and maximise profitability across contractsAbout You : 7-10 years' experience in a commercial role (main contractor preferred)BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar fieldMRICS or MCIOB desirableStrong understanding of contract law and construction contractsProven experience managing commercial teamsSkilled in cost reporting, re-measurement, and project forecastingExcellent data and financial analysis skillsConfident communicator with both clients and internal teamsProficient in Microsoft Office, especially ExcelFull UK driving licence and valid CSCS cardIf you feel like this role is for you, please apply directly or email
