Seasonal Outdoor Chef - Windsor Racecourse - Windsor
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan and prepare seasonal menus featuring barbecue, fish and chips, fresh burgers, and loaded hot dogs for outdoor events at Windsor Racecourse.
- Oversee the preparation and cooking of dishes in outdoor settings, ensuring high-quality standards and presentation.
- Manage food storage and safety practices to comply with health regulations.
- Collaborate with event planners and clients to ensure seamless execution of catering services during race days and special events.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff and volunteers as needed during events.
- Set up and break down catering stations at event sites, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Adapt to changing weather conditions and adjust cooking methods as necessary.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies and ingredients as needed.
Qualifications :
Proven experience as a chef, preferably in outdoor catering or a similar environment.Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during the peak racing season.Benefits :
