We are currently recruiting for a skilled Teaching Assistant to join the team .The role involves providing valuable support to students in Key Stage 2, contributing to their educational growth and overall development.
Our client is a one and a half form entry primary school in the heart of Fleetwood Town, FY7. They pride themselves on being a community school and their pupils reflect the diverse community they serve. Within their beautiful listed building you will find a welcoming, bright and focused learning environment with additional learning spaces such as an ICT suite, Nurture spaces and a well equipped Technology room. Currently this school requires a qualified TA to support a EYFS class, providing general whole class support and small group assistance.
The ideal candidate would be someone who is driven, engaging and also able to gel with students emotionally and intellectually. Ideally you will have EYFS experience and an understanding of the EYFS framework. Due to the diverse populace of pupils that attend, some students may require SEN support so although it is not essential to have this experience you may be required to help on a 1 : 1 capacity and also work with small groups of children, if lesson plans require it. A committed, and professional individual is a must have as there will be times you may have to help plan activities and work with the teachers and staff in order to help with certain individuals' learning needs and plans. The hours are Monday - Friday 8 : 30-3 : 30 with £13-£13.50 per hour. You will be required to support for one term. L2 TA's upwards are welcome to apply.
