About the role

The role would involve a dedicated, passionate and determined individual who wants to progress into a teaching profession. The Nation Teaching Assistant Programme would secure you a paid 5-day placement within a SEND school. After completion of the placement and relevant free online training programmes, you will be placed into the same or another relevant SEND school setting.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Trainee Teaching Assistant you will :

  • Demonstrate compassion, understanding, and a caring manner.
  • Be able to build positive relationships with children and young people.
  • Be passionate and driven about improving the outcomes for children and young people.
  • Be flexible, proactive, and a team player.
  • Understand the crucial importance of keeping children and young people safe.
  • Be able to demonstrate at interview the reasons why you want to start a career in education and explain your understanding of the role of a Teaching Assistant and the important part they play in the school community.

GBP12.86 to GBP12.86 per week
