Site Electrical Engineer

Jackson Hogg is delighted to be working with a leading semiconductor manufacturer, working on devices for the defence sector. With a 10-year plan in place, they are a progressive team with lots of room for growth.
This is a permanent, full time on site position.
Site Electrical Engineer Key Responsibilities :
- Plan, develop and oversee the commissioning and maintenance of all new and existing electrical installations on site, ranging from 11,000v down to 100v systems.
- Perform fault finding, diagnostic and optimisation activities across site electrical and instrumentation system and equipment
- Ensure costs are minimised without compromising the quality of the service provided and to check operational control
- Assist the O&M Group to solve electrical problems, ensuring minimum disruption to the plant.
- Produce maintenance schedules and manuals as necessary and approve these and other key technical documents for use within the department.
- Assist in the production of electrical system designs for process and utilities systems.
- Prepare documentation, write reports and give presentations as necessary.
- Provide technical data and documentation require for the preparation of proposals
