Working closely with police, education, health, and other safeguarding professionals, you'll assess levels of risk and determine the appropriate next steps for children and families in need of support or protection.You won't hold long-term cases, but your work will directly influence the safety and outcomes of children across Oldham.Key Responsibilities : Triage and screen incoming referrals from professionals and the publicCollate and analyse information from partner agencies to inform decision-makingAssess risk levels and identify appropriate interventions or referralsEnsure timely and accurate threshold decisions in line with safeguarding proceduresRecord clear, evidence-based rationales for decisions madePromote a consistent, child-centred, multi-agency responseRequirements : Registration with Social Work EnglandA recognised Social Work qualificationEnhanced DBSPrevious experience within a MASH or frontline safeguarding team preferredInterested?
