Teaching Personnel is seeking Graduate Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Aldershot from March 2025 . With increasing demand for classroom cover, schools require additional staff to ensure students continue to receive high-quality education. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your teaching and behaviour management skills while making a positive impact in local schools.

About the Role :

As a Graduate Cover Supervisor , you will be responsible for :

  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students .
  • Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Supervising students and ensuring they stay on task during lessons.
  • Adapting to different classrooms and subjects , depending on the school’s requirements.
  • Building confidence in classroom management and working with students of varying abilities.
  • Gaining first-hand teaching experience , ideal for those considering a career in education.

    • Application Requirements :

  • A degree (or equivalent qualification).
  • Strong communication and organisational skills .
  • Confidence in managing a classroom and engaging students.
  • A positive and adaptable attitude .
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).

    All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
