Risk Management Advisor

Home Based - Midlands / East Anglia travel

Salary : circa £50,000 + Car Allowance / Company Car

Irwin and Colton have been engaged by a leading Insurance and Risk Management organisation who are looking to bring on board a new Risk Management Advisor. The role will be working with a range of their clients across an array of industries; from financial services and retailers, through to FMCG manufacturers and pharmaceuticals, providing health and safety expertise on a variety of projects.

Responsibilities of the Risk Management Advisor will include :

  • Partner with clients to advise and report on health and safety across a range of sites
  • Report and monitor on onsite strategies and objectives for clients to help create a positive health and safety culture
  • Deliver a range of services for clients, including auditing, policy review, risk assessments, fire risk assessments and management systems assessment as required
  • Engaging internally to share best practice and ideas, constantly assessing opportunities for improvement and innovation
  • Work with both internal staff, and client staff on health and safety training in order for hazards to be identified and mitigated

The successful Risk Management Advisor will have :

  • NEBOSH Diploma (equivalent) and relevant IOSH membership
  • Proven health and safety experience; especially across the wider corporate industries or consultancy
  • Strong communication skills - both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders and clients
  • A positive and pragmatic attitude to network and build strong client relationships
  • Full driving license, and comfortable with travel when required
