We have an exciting opportunity available to join our team of Playworkers providing care and activities to school age children aged 4-11 years.

As a Playworker you will :

• Consult with the children and involve them in planning of activities, interact with children and engage in meaningful indoor and outdoor play experiences while supervising them.
• Establish positive and sensitive relationships with children, act as a role model, and set achievable expectations.
• Maintain positive relationships with parents / carers, informing them about the Club, exchanging information about the children, and encouraging parent involvement.
• Provide a healthy and safe environment at all times for all children in the Club; reporting any concerns regarding the premises, outdoor area, or equipment to the Club Leader and / or Area Manager.

You will need to be passionate about outdoor learning and physical development, a child magnet, skilled at teaching young children, know when to ask questions and when to listen, patient, reliable, flexible, friendly, motivated, enthusiastic, and hard-working.

The role is part-time : before & after school and during school holidays.
