Commis Chef

Northumbrian Water are looking to appoint a Commis Chef on a 6 month temporary contract to cover a long term sickness in the team. This role will be based at the Hanningfield Waterside Park in Chelmsford.

Working hours : 8am -4pm with regular working weekends

Duties include :

Assisting in the food preparation processCooking and preparing elements of high quality dishesPreparing vegetables, meats and fishAssisting other ChefsHelping with deliveries and restockingAssisting with stock rotationCleaning stationsContributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards.

This role can be flexible and will consider full time or part time hours, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months experience in the role and have excellent customer service skills.
