VAN DRIVER

WORKING 1 - 3 DAYS BETWEEN MONDAY - SATURDAY : START TIMES 05.00 - 06.00

12.51 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 3.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in the Daventry area.

Rates of Pay :

Basic : £12.51 per hour

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a Van Driver will involve but not be limited to :

Multi-Drop Deliveries of white goods

Working as part of a two-person team

Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly

Adhere to traffic laws and regulations

Essential Skills

As a Van Driver you will need to :

Hold a valid UK Category B Driving Licence

Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving Category B vehicles

No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes

Must have good knowledge of UK road network

Must be able to speak and read a good level of English

Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills

Desirable Experience

Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial

Previous experience of home deliveries would be beneficial

Training

Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
