Experience required
Essential :
UK experience within a public, private or third-sector UK-based clientDegree in a related technical field (Water / Environmental / Civil Engineering) or equivalent experienceAbility to demonstrate experience in leading technical inputs and project delivery for a range of network modelling and CSO spill reduction modellingProficiency in using InfoWorks ICM modelling software to construct network and catchment models and develop solutionsA solid understanding of hydraulic analysis and designGIS and its use in hydraulic schematisation as well as results analysisBuild new and troubleshoot existing hydraulic modelsAssess sensibility of results, calibrate models and improve confidence in the outputsData requirements and routes of procurement for hydraulic model builds.Preparing and presenting technical reports to meet industry standards and project objectives both internally and to external clientsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams involved in Water Company hydraulic modelling projects.Conducting checks on technical reports and calculation outputsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDesirable :
A full UK driving licenseChartered or working towards Chartered statusExperience in project management of flood risk or water related projectsRelevant software skills GIS Mapping, AutoCADExperience in providing technical training and mentoring to junior members of the team.Demonstratable experience in the application of flood risk management legislation, planning policy and industry guidanceMEICA design legislation and processYou'll get this and so much more
