MET Technician - Dulwich

Salary : £50,000 to £60,000 (depending on experience)

Hours of Work : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM.

The Business :

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced MET Technician to join a well-established, family-run auto body repair shop in the London area. The company is renowned for its high standards of work and customer satisfaction, and due to continued growth, they are looking for a passionate and skilled individual MET Technician to become a key part of their professional team.

The Role as an MET Technician :

As an MET Technician, you will be working in a modern, fast-paced environment where you will be tasked with a variety of duties, including :

  • Stripping and refitting a range of vehicle makes and models.
  • Carrying out diagnostic checks, wheel alignment, suspension, and mechanical duties.
  • Performing road tests (if applicable).
  • Fault finding and diagnostics, including ADAS calibration resets.
  • Ensuring all work meets BSI 10125 accreditation and manufacturer specifications.
  • Adhering to health & safety regulations and completing all work to the highest standards.

About You :

To succeed in this role as an MET Technician, you should :

  • Have demonstrable experience in a similar role within a body shop or repair workshop.
  • Hold an ATA qualification or equivalent (essential).
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Have excellent diagnostic skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Be flexible, adaptable, and able to work well under pressure.
  • Take pride in your work and maintain a high standard of service at all times.
  • Be organized, with a positive, can-do attitude.
