They are looking for a Technical Sales Manager with strong connections within the UK water and wastewater utilities sector. Focusing on above-ground water tanks and working with major UK water companies and contractors, they are looking for someone to lead on growth, relationships and winning new contracts.With a strong engineering and technical team in place, they have the technical side nailed and are now looking for someone who can lead on growth, relationships and, winning new projects.About the roleTaking full ownership of the sales process from lead generation through to project completionKey focus on new business development and project-based work with UK water companies and contractorsMaintain and expand relationships with key accountsField-based role with regular UK travel, expect lots of customer visits and on-site meetingsCollaborate with internal teams to shape technical solutions to ensure delivery to a high standardPlay a key role in building out a commercial and technical team within the division as it grows, including advising on future hires.Opportunity to grow into a director position in the long-term.About youYou come from a technical sales background in the water or wastewater industryYou are well connected within the UK water industryYou have a strong understanding of the inner workings of water utilities and their supply chainsYou are comfortable driving new business and managing complex, multi-stage projectsYou are familiar with key industry players and processesFull UK driving licence is requiredIdeally you are within a commutable distance to Essex, but this is not essentialWhy Join?The best part of this is, if you are successful in getting the job, we guarantee that you are going to love it.
