We're looking for a Credit Controller to join us as part of the newly formed UK Finance Team, sitting under the Commercial Director and form part of the Commercial & Finance Team. The Finance team will provide services such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, cashiers, credit control, management accounts, reporting, banking etc. This role will report into the Financial Controller who will head up the finance team.

What you'll be doing

• You will own a portfolio of all customers relating to CES Global where you will be responsible for collecting accounts in accordance with agreed payment terms.
• Work together as a team and be a back up for your peers in accounts payable
• Proactive collection management of a complex ledger
• Work towards targets for cash collection to reduce outstanding debt exposure to the group
• Reconciliation of accounts to ensure statements produced are accurate and cash / credit notes are posted to invoices as per the customers requirements.
• Record all action taken on an account utilising the debt management system.
• Attend calls with sales team to resolve overdue accounts.
• Set up new customer accounts as and when required
• Ability to identify potential problem accounts, recommending accounts to be placed on stop or legal
• Deal with financial queries and disputes relating to invoicing. Logging disputes as appropriate.
