40 hours / 37 week position (term time only)

Actual Salary £20,776 - £29,519 per annum

subject to qualifications and experience)

FTE salary £25,458 - £36,172 per annum

You will be responsible for leading student sessions with a focus on transforming horticultural produce into a range of products that can be sold in the farm shop, or used in the preparation of meals in the college kitchens.

Produce will also be processed in imaginative ways to facilitate their use in our residential houses.

Ruskin Mill Trust has a nutrition policy, which focuses on biodynamic and organic food so we are keen to see applicants who share our passion for nutrition and is familiar with using seasonal produce where possible.

You must be able to instil enthusiasm and enjoyment into the learning process in such a way that can lead to increased self-esteem and enhanced engagement in learning.

The key duties in this role will include :

• To plan and deliver sessions to a small group of students according to their individual learning needs and requirements.
• To embed communication, word and number skills into all sessions with students.
• To be a part of ongoing assessment of students learning needs and to make reasonable adjustments as required minimising barriers to learning and achievement.
