Job description

Pro-Found Recruitment are looking to recruit a Fabricator for our client in Alfreton, DE55.

Fabricator Benefits :

  • Hours : Monday to Friday working 7 : 30am - 4pm - paid for 42.5 hours
  • Rate of Pay : £12.44 per hour plus overtime at time and a half
  • Contract : Temp to perm

Fabricator role and responsibilities include :

  • Quality inspection
  • Operating Fabrication Machinery, including automated saws, routers.
  • Use of hand tools including measuring devices
  • Fabricating bespoke orders
  • Assist in all stages of manufacturing aluminium doors / conservatory roofs / bespoke items
  • Assist colleagues in hitting production targets.
  • Focus on producing quality products.

    • Fabricator Key skills :

  • Previous fabrication experience preferred but training could be given to the right candidate who can demonstrate a strong production / manufacturing background
  • Must have excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience of using hand tools and good measuring skills.
  • Able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
  • Excellent time keeping and attendance.
  • Willingness to undertake further training.
  • Previous experience in the window and door sector would be an advantage but not essential.
