Location- Gorton

Permanent / Full Time

Salary- £30,000-£40,000

Teaching personnel have an amazing opportunity to work with an excellent Secondary school. The School are looking to appoint an experienced qualified teacher to join the school as it grows into three classes. The candidate will have experience of working with SEMH students and / or SEN.

Candidate Specification :

  • Engagement Skills :  Ability to engage learners and support their ambitions. To bring fresh ideas and creativity to the classroom and outside it.
  • Emotional Support :  Passionate about making a positive impact on students’ lives.
  • Qualifications :  To hold QTS / QTLS.
  • Experience :  Have worked in a school environment. Particularly, experience in secondary school would be an added advantage with experience of working with SEMH students and / or SEN.
  • Knowledge :  Have an understanding of alternative provision and dealing with students with special needs.
  • Problem-Solving :  Aptitude for solving problems and making effective decisions.
  • Communication :  Professional communication with students and staff.
  • Promotion of Values :  Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, safeguarding, wellbeing, and British values.
  • Time Management :  Effective time management for planning, delivery, and assessment.

Location :

This school is based in Gorton, close to local motorway routes and public transport links. Parking will be available on site.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
