As a Senior Radiographer at our Cardiff and Vale Hospitals, you'll have a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), a postgraduate qualification desirable but not essential, and high levels of technical knowledge. You will be required to work across both sites - Cardiff Bay and the Vale Hospital with equipment to include Ultrasound, DR X-ray, Multipurpose Fluoroscopy, Image Intensifiers in theatre and MRI, Mammography (if relevant)

As a Senior Radiographer, you will :

See each patient as an individual, offering understanding and empathy

Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload - in the department, on the ward and in theatre

Work with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment and facilities

Carry out scoping to develop policies and procedures

Supervise and develop junior colleagues

Ensure a service of the highest quality is delivered with sensitivity and compassion

Hours are 24 hours and can be flexible across how and when these are worked. Team operates between Mon-Fri 8am - 8pm, plus on-call responsibilities.
